TOSHULIN, a.s. is one of the leading manufacturers of technologically advanced multifunctional CNC machine tools and vertical lathes specified to machine middle-sized work pieces and work pieces with large dimensions in the world.

  • The company’s history began in 1949, when the foundation stone was placed to build a machinery factory.  

               Since 1951 the company has been specialized for manufacture of

               vertical lathes.

  • The plant is one of the first in the world to start production of lathe with continuous shifts, NC rectangular coordinate system control and copying.
  • Commencement of the production of vertical lathes with automatic exchange of tools from 1974.
  • 1980´s – the range of products consists of vertical lathes with CNC control with a table diameter of 800 to 3,000 mm and special machining lines.
  • The first machine with palletization and C-axis built in 1986.
  • In 1999 construction of the first machine of a new generation – POWERTURN.
  • At the beginning of the second millennium, commencement of development of a new series of SKL "light" machines and SKG "great" machines.
  • 2002 – Construction of the first machines with a table diameter larger than 4 metre.
  • The second millennium means many development projects – Y axis machine,

    B axis machine, Y axis head, rotary tool speed up to 4,500 rpm.

  • In 2009 developed machine with its essential parts - the bed and the column – made from high tenacity concrete. Due to this application the machine has better thermal expansion and greater oscillation resistance properties.
  • In 2011 was built the POWERTURN with a table drive Master-Slave

   (power output 140 kW), with new guarding design and special rotary tool drive.

  • In 2012 we presented the new structure of production

   – BASICTURN , POWERTURN , EXPERTURN , FORCETURN.
